Polarization maintaining fiber array units (FAUs) are 1D arrays with high accuracy machined V grooves populated with standard PM, UHNA PM or PZ fibers.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Material: Quartz , Borosilicate, other upon request

  • Fiber: SM, PM, Gyro, MFD conversion fiber, Polarizing optical fiber (PZ), Lensed fiber

  • Channel: 1- 72

  • Fiber Spacings: 127µm, 250µm, 254µm, custom pitch available

  • Unit Size: V-base thickness 1.5mm. Lid thickness 1.0mm, 0.2mm, No lid, Custom dimensions available

  • End-Face Polished Angle: 0-60° (lid short or lid long). Transverse angle polishing is available

  • PER: >18dB with connector, >20dB without connector

  • Stress Rod Orientation; (Vertical - Horizontal -  ± 3°, standard or  ± 1° available)

  • Connector: FC/PC, FC/APC, MT/APC, LC/APC, others available

  • 1D and 2D configuration available

  • Custom specifications are welcomed ( such as fiber protrusion, overall dimensions, etc.)
