PRODUCT OVERVIEW

PLC Connections can build standard and application-specific fiberoptic alignment stations to meet your test and assembly needs. Standard stations have one or two 6-axis stage stacks and are suitable for a wide range of fiber-to-waveguide and fiber-to-fiber alignments. Stations include PC-based software to automate X/Y and roll alignment for multi-fiber arrays.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Standard Configurations: One or two 6-axis stage stacks; two stacks allows for two simultaneous fiber array alignments

• Stages can include a mix of manual and motorized axes

• Built-in X/Y and roll angle optimization for SM fiber alignments (PC-based)

• Standard Travel: X, Y, and Z: 25mm; A, B, C: ±4°

• Standard Positioning Resolution: X, Y, and Z: better than 0.1µm; A, B, C: better than 12 arcseconds (0.003°)

• Standard fiber array and custom device fixturing available
