fa ice (in-plane coupling element)
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
FA-ICE is a low profile in-plane optical I/O solution to launch light into grating couplers or receive light from an on chip optical component. This element is based off of a standard fiber array construction that has a custom dual angle polish. The primary angle turns the beam to a vertical launch and the secondary angle reduces the fiber clad above the core.

Primary reflector angle is polished to meet the desired launch into Grating Coupler or other optical port.

Stress Rod Orientation: (Horizontal ± 3°, standard or ± 1° available)
Connector: FC/PC, FC/APC, MT/APC, LC/APC
